Back from Vacation!

We made it back from vacation.  It turned out very nice.  We went to see my hubbies sister who lives in Oceana CA  The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed each others company.  My hubby loves to cook and we took some of his favorite new recipes and he made them.  We spent time with Charlenes children & grand children also.  I crocheted flowers and went craft shopping (whoohoo)  It was great to go and seemed like the time rushed by too quickly.  It's good to be home but I miss my sister-in-law - she's a real sweetheart and great to be around.  I wish we lived closer together.

Feeling Better!

I've been sick for the past two weeks.  I don't know what I caught but it was a bugger!  My hubby wanted me to go to the doctor, but I knew they couldn't really do anything because it was a virus.  I guess I should have gone anyway but I was just too sick to drive and he was too busy at work to take me, so I suffered through it.
Today I have a burst of creativity and I'm taking advantage of it!  I signed up to make cards and tags at YPP (Your Paper Pantry) so I'm getting them done.
While I was sick my dear darling hubby and his sister Charlene decided our vacation plans.   She lives in California near Pisbo Beach and we're going to visit her.  We're leaving in a couple of weeks so my mind is racing trying to remember all I need to do.
I'm going to try to get my swap stuff done and mailed this next week and get everything else done the following week.  It's going to be crazy!!  Shoot it's already crazy.

Mistake

I made a horrible mistake, I feel so bad.  In March I won a blog giveaway.  I really thought I won it from MadeByMomo but it was MadeByEJP.  I received her wonderful gift and I still didn't realize.  I posted here on my blog and made a video.  Then I won a YouTube giveaway from MadeByEJP (what are the odds???)  Thats when I discovered what I'd done.  I want to apologize to Ezlie (MadeByEJP) and tell her how sorry I am.  Please support her by checking out her blog http://madebyejp.blogspot.com and her YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/madebyejp

YPP Stick Pin Swap

I've finished my stick pins for the swap I'm in at Your Paper Pantry.  Now I need to package them and get them shipped off.  My goal is to do this by wednesday :)  I mailed off my flowers last friday.  I haven't been feeling well so everything is difficult to do.  I feel like I haven't been doing anything creative - then I look around my messy craft room and realize I have been!!  I had the grand kids over last friday - it was a blast as usual.  We didn't do a craft this time - but I have my wireless internet set up so they could use it with their Ipods.  When I gave them the password, I told them it was my birthday - my grand daughter said "boy you have a long birthday grandma"  10 digits (my birthday plus other numbers) I had to laugh.
My husband was upset saturday when I was in Roberts too long.  He had gone to the grocery store near by and left me at Roberts to shop.  When he was finished he parked and waited for me.  He waited 20 minutes.  That was not a good time.  Do any of you lose track of time in your favorite store?  I do it all the time.  I know better than to shop when he might be waiting.  (Plus he hates the money I spend on my crafts)  Do you have a similar problem?  Please comment and let me know.  Thanks
